Handmaid's Tale - Season Two Promotion

THE CHALLENGE: Create a conversation-worthy experience around SXSW to promote the season two premier of the hit Hulu show, without an official sponsorship or large physical footprint.

THE SOLUTION: Seven installations placed around Austin, TX that drew inspiration from a key scene in season two where the iconic capes and gowns were "set on fire", utilizing only vapor and lighting. Brand ambassadors handed out secret notes to attendees asking what they resist in our current social/political climate, sparking further discourse.
